Although Kevin Peters may be a new name to the Canadian Country music industry

He brings a wealth of experience from years of paying his dues and sluggin’ it out on the road from honky tonk rodeos, theatres, and festival stages. Kevin Peters is an old soul in a young man’s body, doing music the way it should be done: from the heart. Kevin is currently working on a handful of new singles inspired by divorce, heartbreak, and reclaiming his voice.

About Me

Born and raised 10 minutes north of a little town called Arborg, Manitoba. The 7th of 8 children, Kevin was instilled with a strong sense of family. He grew up singing gospel in church every Sunday and picked up the guitar for the first time around 7 years old. You can now catch him playing solo, with a 3-piece, or a full band in many venues across Western Canada. He inspires to bring back the old traditional country sound, with influences from Johnny Cash, Alan Jackson, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, and Hank Williams (all of them).

At the age of 14 Kevin recorded a gospel album with his brothers , and spent the next coming years recording, preforming, and touring; both on his own and with other family bands. Clearly he hasn’t stopped. His selection of traditional, neo-traditional, and originals has proven to be a crowd pleaser from the foothills of Alberta, down to the hot heat of Mexico, through the Western Prairies, and into eastern Canada.

Peters has played with folks like Richard Inman, Noeline Hoffman, Dusty Golden, and Cole Martin. As well as helped produce one of Inman’s albums “Come Back Through”. Kevin has played many festivals including Fire and Water, Northern Lights, Harvest Sun, and Manitoba Stampede.
